How a one-card reading works
Hold one question
Keep it to one thing: a person, a choice, a week. Nothing to type. If no question comes, ask what today needs from you.
Take the card that pulls
The cards come from all 78, shuffled fresh each time, and about a third land reversed, as they would from a real shuffle.
Read it both ways
Upright, the card speaks plainly. Reversed, the same energy is blocked, late or turned inward. Its full page has both.
Questions about picking a card
How does a pick-a-card tarot reading work?
You hold one question, look at the face-down cards and take the one you feel drawn to. The card that turns over is your answer for now, upright or reversed. Read its meaning, then sit with what it points at before you pick again.
Is this a real random draw?
Yes. The deck is all 78 cards, shuffled in your browser every time you pick, and roughly a third of the cards land reversed. Nothing is stored and there is no sign-up.
What does it mean if my card is reversed?
A reversed card carries the same energy as upright, but blocked, delayed or turned inward. Its keywords above already show the reversed reading, and the card page has both sides.
Can I pick again for the same question?
You can, though most readers keep the first card. If you pick again, read the second card as a comment on why you needed to ask twice.
Where do I get the full reading?
The card page has the meaning upright and reversed. What the card says about love, work and your own question is in the Tarot Sun app, free on iPhone and Android.
A card every morning
