How do I restore my purchase?
Open the app, bring up the paywall (tap any Pro feature) and use the Restore link at the bottom. Sign in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. There is no Tarot Sun account, so that Apple ID or Google account is what identifies your purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. On iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Tarot Sun and tap Cancel Subscription, or go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. On Android open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, choose Tarot Sun and tap Cancel subscription, or go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, and you keep access until the paid period ends.
How do I get a refund?
The store you bought from handles refunds. For the App Store, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose the purchase and tell Apple why. I cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. For Google Play, request one at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637. Within 48 hours of the purchase Google decides on the request. After that, email nikolaystrikhar@gmail.com.
Using the app
How do I change the language?
The app follows your phone's language when it supports it. You can also pick a language in the app's Settings. The app is available in English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.
My daily card notification does not arrive.
Check three things. In the app, Settings, make sure the daily reminder is on and the time is set. In your phone's settings, allow notifications for Tarot Sun (on iPhone: Settings, Notifications, Tarot Sun; on Android: Settings, Apps, Tarot Sun, Notifications). Then check that no Focus mode, Do Not Disturb or Scheduled Summary is holding it back. If you changed the time or denied permission earlier, turn the reminder off and on again in the app.
How do I delete my data?
Most of your data is only on your device. Deleting the app removes your journal, favourites, streak and settings. For the anonymous analytics and purchase records held by our service providers, email nikolaystrikhar@gmail.com and say you want them deleted. See the privacy policy for details. Purchase history is kept by Apple or Google.
Will I lose my journal if I change phones?
The journal is stored on the device and is not synced by the app. A full phone backup or a device transfer made with Apple's or Google's tools can carry app data over. Without one, a new phone starts with an empty journal.
Is there an Android version?
Yes. Tarot Sun is on Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.leprechaun.tarot. Purchases stay with the store you bought from: there is no Tarot Sun account, so a subscription bought on the App Store does not carry over to Android, and one bought on Google Play does not carry over to iPhone.
Which tarot deck does the app use?
The Rider-Waite-Smith deck, with the original 1909 illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith. The card meanings are written by people, not generated.
Something is broken. What should I do?
Update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play first. If it still happens, email nikolaystrikhar@gmail.com with what you did, your phone model and OS version, and a screenshot if you have one.
Your data
Your journal, favourites and settings stay on your phone, and there is no account. The app does send usage statistics and purchase data to a few services; the privacy policy lists each one. Read the privacy policy.
