Swords belong to air, the element of thought and speech. They cover decisions, arguments, truth and the stories you tell yourself at night. The Ace cuts through confusion; by the Ten a situation has reached its lowest point and can only lift. Many Swords in a spread mean the problem sits in the mind, or in what has been said. They are the hardest suit to draw, and reversed they often show the pain easing. All fourteen cards are below, with their upright and reversed meanings.
