The Cups are the tarot's water suit, and they deal with feeling: love, friendship, family, grief and the memories you carry. The fourteen cards run from the Ace, a new feeling or a fresh start in love, to the Ten, a full and settled home, then the four court cards. When several Cups land in one spread, the question is about the heart more than the facts. Reversed, a Cup usually points to a feeling held back or poured into the wrong place. 4The court cards are people, or the way you are acting. In Cups they lead with feeling: the Page says it first, the King keeps it steady.
